Before founding APL Ventures, he spent over a decade in finance, serving as a Senior Vice President at Morgan Stanley Private Equity and as an M&A investment banker at Barclays Capital. Alongside his work at APL Ventures, Albert is a part-time Lecturer and Researcher at Stanford University, specializing in startups and investment strategies.

Albert holds a BA in Economics from Brown University and an MBA from Stanford University.
